DJKaty.com is back!

Welcome to the new DJKaty.com! After a long absence the site is finally back online with a new, more navigable design. The old site went down and stayed down for a long time due to a very unfortunate and unpredictable sequence of events both technical and health-related.

Existing clients were not affected. I would like to make clear that I have been reachable at my business phone number at all times while the web site itself was down. It is of course my goal to provide a fast and reliable service to all of my clients and I will continue to do so.

Due to 3rd party data loss, all of the user comments from the old site have unfortunately been lost. I am working to retrieve these and other data, and I have a potentially very interesting OpenSSL encryption-breaking project in the works - please participate in this if you can, it will be of great benefit to the web site and myself as well as being scientifically interesting. There will also be articles forthcoming about how the site was recovered from almost nothing, which will be of interest to anyone working with SQL, XSL and web sites.

RSS subscribers: The RSS feed has changed from http://www.djkaty.com/drupal/rssMain to http://www.djkaty.com/rss. The old link will work for a while but please update to the new one as soon as possible. There is now also a separate feed with new software release and major update notifications at http://www.djkaty.com/rss/updates.

Lots of new content to come soon. Enjoy the new site, and if you find any bugs, please let me know!

Introduction

Hello! My name is Katy Coe and this site is a showcase of my core skill set for companies or individuals with a need to hire a programmer for small-to-medium sized projects, and for those interested in my public projects. I have a wide breadth of knowledge in many areas as (hopefully!) demonstrated by this site. I am generally available for freelance contract hire. See my credentials for a list of my technical skills and qualifications. For hiring information, see rates, standard contract and testimonials. Feel free to leave feedback or comments on any articles posted here, you can do so anonymously if you wish. All constructive feedback is welcome. I can also be reached via the contact page.
